Bus Companion

Overview

Bus Companion is the parent and guardian-facing mobile application that brings complete school transportation visibility directly to a family's smartphone. Parents can open the app at any time to see their child's bus on a live map with a real-time ETA countdown — no more waiting at the gate with no information. The moment a student boards or exits the bus, an instant notification is delivered with the exact time and location. If the driver or attendant triggers the SOS emergency alert, parents and administrators are notified immediately. Bus Companion is designed for simplicity — a clean, intuitive interface that any parent can navigate without a learning curve, available on both Android and iOS. It connects directly to the eTechSchoolBus and eTech Tracker Suite infrastructure, so every update parents see reflects the same live data that administrators monitor on the school dashboard.
