IHLMS 2.0 - Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA)
Complete eGovernance digitisation of Maharashtra's public housing lottery — automating document validation, rule-based compliance, and allotment for millions of applicants across the state.
Project Overview
Techlead delivered a comprehensive eGovernance transformation for MHADA (Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority) — one of India's largest public housing bodies responsible for allocating affordable homes to millions of citizens across Maharashtra. The platform digitized the entire housing lottery lifecycle: from eligibility-based applicant registration and document submission through automated compliance validation, lottery draw execution, and allotment notification. Configurable rule engines replaced manual multi-department document review. The system also introduced audit trails, grievance redressal workflows, and digital certificate generation — bringing transparency, accountability, and measurably faster turnaround to a process that previously spanned months.
Outcomes
End-to-end digitization of Maharashtra's housing lottery — automating document validation, eliminating manual review backlogs, and bringing transparency and speed to a process that previously took months for millions of applicants.
